I projected the video about creating quality blogging comments again with my class. Then, I showed the class all of the comments left so far on one of the Blogging assignments. We spent time discussing which comments followed the guidelines, answers the blogging prompt well, and which comments were more like "texting" each other. I modeled for my students how to edit their own comments for good grammar, spelling, and quality. I demonstrated how to use spell check and revisited my expectations to use complete sentences. I also showed them that I can easily delete comments that don't follow our guidelines.
