I have been teaching at a high poverty school in Indianapolis since 1990. I have my bachelor's of science degree in Elementary Education from Indiana University and my master's degree in Education from Indiana Wesleyan University. I have taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders, and I am now an instructional coach for the same school I have taught at all of my career. Teaching has always been my passion, and I love to see my students reach their fullest potential.
I am married to my husband, Mike, and we have 3 children. My oldest, Allison, graduated from Indiana University. She is teaching Pre-K in Chicago. My daughter, Katelyn graduated from Ball State with a business degree in marketing and minor in Spanish. She is currently working on completing her MBA, and works as an assistant director of marketing for a small college in Illinois. My youngest, Kyle, graduated Ball State majoring in telecommunications. He completed an internship at WTHR Channel 13 News, and is now working as a customer success manager at FieldEdge in Fort Myers.
